XIAMEN AIRLINES GENERAL CONDITIONS OF INTERNATIONAL CARRIAGE  FOR  PASSENGER AND BAGGAGE ARTICLE

1 定義
1. DEFINITIONS
 《廈門航空有限公司旅客、行李國際運(yùn)輸總條件》（以下簡稱“條件”）中的下列用語，除具體條款中有其它要求或另有明確規(guī)定外，含義如下：
In Xiamen Airlines General Conditions of Carriage for International Passengers and Baggage (hereinafter referred to as Conditions), except where the context otherwise requires or where it is[m1] otherwise expressly provided, the following expressions have the meanings respectively assigned to them, that is to say:
1.1 “公約”指根據(jù)合同規(guī)定適用于該項(xiàng)運(yùn)輸?shù)?929年10月12日在華沙簽訂的《統(tǒng)一國際航空運(yùn)輸某些規(guī)則的公約》（簡稱“華沙公約”）、1955年9月28日在海牙簽訂的《修改1929年10月12日在華沙簽訂的統(tǒng)一國際航空運(yùn)輸某些規(guī)則的公約的議定書》（簡稱“海牙議定書”）和1999年5月28日在蒙特利爾簽訂的《統(tǒng)一國際航空運(yùn)輸某些規(guī)則的公約》（簡稱“蒙特利爾公約”）。
1.1 “CONVENTION” means the following instruments that are applicable to air transportation according to the contract: Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Carriage by Air signed on 12 October 1929 at Warsaw (hereinafter referred to as “Warsaw Convention”), the Protocol to Amend the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Carriage by Air signed at Warsaw on 12 October 1929,done at the Hague on 28 September 1955 (hereinafter referred to as “Hague Protocol”) and the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air signed at Montreal on 28 May 1999 (hereinafter referred to as “Montreal Convention”).
1.2 “國際運(yùn)輸”指根據(jù)旅客運(yùn)輸合同，其出發(fā)地點(diǎn)、約定經(jīng)停地點(diǎn)和目的地點(diǎn)中有一個(gè)或一個(gè)以上的地點(diǎn)不在中華人民共和國境內(nèi)的航空運(yùn)輸。
1.2 “INTERNATIONAL CARRIAGE” means carriage in which, according to a contract of carriage, one or more places of departure, destination and agreed stopping place is/are situated outside the People’s Republic of China.
